Hanky PankyIt’s like butta! No really, it is…or so says the Wall Street Journal who was quoted saying that the Hanky Panky thong was like “lace butter”. I mean, what else do we need to say….we carry underwear that got written up in the Wall Street Journal! The company trademark was created in 1977 by Gale Epstein and Lida Orzeck when Gale gave Lida a gift of lingerie made of hand embroidered hankies, hence the name, Hanky Panky. That original piece of lingerie and inspiration for the company name is now housed in the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
